The course is of 1 year and 6 months duration as per the syllabus laid down by the Indian Nursing Council and approved by the Karnataka Nursing Council.
The medium of Instruction is Kannada.
Number of seats available - 30.
 
Admission & Selection:-
Admission is open to all the Candidates.
Selection will be on the basis of written test and interview. Preference will be for the girls from Rural areas of Karnataka.
 
Admission Requirements:-
  1. The minimum requirement is S.S.L.C. pass with 45% or above marks. Candidates with Plus two can also apply.
  2. Minimum age is 18 years and maximum shall be 35 yrs.
  3. Candidates should be single (female) of good health and conduct.
  4. Candidate should be medically fit.
  5. Completed application forms should reach the Principal on or before …………………………. along with attested copies of the following.
    1. S.S.L.C. Certificate.
    2. PUC Certificate.
    3. Transfer Certificate
    4. Birth certificate
    5. Physical Fitness certificate.
    6. Caste and Income certificate.
    7. Self addressed Stamped envelop (1).
 
Fees:-
Fees for the 1st year Rs. 15,000/
Fees for the 6 months Rs. 7500/-
 
Examination:-
Theory & Practical Exam after 1st year and after 6 month.
 
Eligibility for Exam:-
  • Candidate should pass for the internal exam by getting 13 out of 25. and practical 25 out of 50.
  • If a candidate fails for more than one subject, she will not be permitted tko the next year.
  • A candidate must have minimum of 80% attendance in theory and practical in each subject prior to the final exam.

Annual Leave 30 days
Study Leave 10 days
Special Leave 6 days
 
Post course service:-
All the Candidates who have completed the A.N.M. courses are to Execute a bound to serve for 1 year at Holy Cross Hospital or any other Hospital designated by the management.
 
Rules and Regulations:-
  • If a candidate wished to discontinue the course, she may be permitted but fees once paid will not be refunded.
  • No leave will be given other than the leave mentioned.
  • In case of an emergency, leave may be sanctioned by the Principal.
  • Students should be punctual for classes and clinical.
  • Certificates will be issued to the candidate only after completion of the post course service.
  • Use of mobile is strictly not allowed.
  • All the candidates are requested to reside in the hostel during the course.
  • Shopping is allowed only twice a month.
  • Candidates are not allowed to have visitors in the hospital.
  • Visitors are permitted on 1st and 3rd Sundays only.
  • Relatives and friend s are not permitted to visit the students during class hours and clinical posting.
  • Students are permitted to make phone calls on Saturdays and Sundays only.
  • In the hostel, Mess will be managed by the candidates and mess fee has to be paid before 10th every month.
  • The Institution will not take the responsibility for the loss of valuable or money.
